Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 13, 2026

Effective Date: October 13, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Aurora medical imaging platform, websites, APIs, mobile components, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”) provided by Aurora IT Tech Pte Ltd (“Aurora,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Who May Use the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to accept these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent. If you are registering on behalf of a healthcare provider or enterprise, you warrant that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards in your jurisdiction.

3. Our Services

The Platform offers tools for uploading, processing, and reviewing medical imaging studies using artificial intelligence techniques. Core capabilities include:

  • Secure upload and storage of imaging files (DICOM, NIfTI, and similar formats).
  • Automated AI analysis to produce structured summaries, annotations, and highlight potential findings.
  • Dashboards to manage cases, control access, and review historical uploads.
  • APIs and integration hooks for research workflows or enterprise systems (where enabled).

We may add, modify, or remove features over time. Additional terms may apply to specific beta, research, or paid modules; if so, those terms will supplement these Terms.

4. Accounts and Security

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your password and any authentication credentials.
  • You must promptly notify us at security@aurora-tech.co of any unauthorised access or suspected security incident.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not you authorise them.

5. Professional Use and Medical Disclaimer

NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE OR DIAGNOSTIC TOOL.

The Platform is designed for research, evaluation, and workflow support. It is not a regulated medical device, does not provide medical advice, and must not be used for diagnosis, treatment, or emergency decision-making. Any outputs must be reviewed and validated by qualified healthcare professionals.

You acknowledge that AI-generated analysis may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your intended purpose. Aurora is not responsible for clinical decisions, patient outcomes, or compliance with medical regulations in your jurisdiction.

6. Uploading Medical Data

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all imaging data and associated information uploaded to the Platform complies with applicable privacy laws, professional obligations, and institutional policies. Specifically, you agree to:

  • De-identify imaging data before upload unless a separate written agreement (e.g., BAA or DPA) permits uploading identifiable data.
  • Obtain all necessary consents, permissions, or authorisations from data subjects and institutions.
  • Not upload data that you are prohibited from sharing by contract, law, or professional duty.

We may refuse, remove, or delete any content that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other user accounts, or underlying systems.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform, except through authorised security assessments.
  • Use the Platform to develop or train competing models without our prior written consent.
  • Transmit malicious code, spam, or conduct denial-of-service attacks.
  • Use the Platform for unlawful, harmful, or discriminatory purposes.

We may monitor usage to protect the Platform, investigate suspected violations, and enforce these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property and Licences

Aurora retains all rights, title, and interest in the Platform, including all software, models, documentation, logos, and proprietary know-how. Except for the limited right to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms, no other rights are granted to you.

You retain ownership of data and content you upload. By submitting content, you grant Aurora a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, analyse, and display that content solely to provide and improve the Platform, and to comply with legal obligations. We may create aggregated or de-identified data for research and benchmarking.

Feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used without obligation to you.

9. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate or rely on third-party services (e.g., storage providers, authentication, analytics). We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their performance or terms. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policies.

10. Fees and Trials

Some features may be offered without charge during evaluation or limited release periods. We reserve the right to introduce fees or usage-based limits in the future. Any applicable pricing will be communicated in advance and governed by a separate order form or subscription agreement.

11. Availability and Support

We aim to provide reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance, emergency fixes, or factors beyond our control may impact availability. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you of major outages.

Support can be requested via support@aurora-tech.co. Response times may vary depending on demand and service tier.

12. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AURORA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not make commitments about the content, performance, or results obtained from the Platform. Your use is at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AURORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

AURORA’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT PAID TO AURORA IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) SGD 1,000.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aurora, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, threaten the security or integrity of the Platform, or misuse the service. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@aurora-tech.co.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (see our Privacy Policy).

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Platform or these Terms shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC”) in accordance with the SIAC Rules in force when the notice of arbitration is submitted.

The seat of arbitration shall be Singapore, the tribunal shall consist of one arbitrator, and the language of the arbitration shall be English. Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified via email or in-product notice. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Platform.
